Pumpkin Spice White Russian with Bourbon and Coffee
This festive autumn pumpkin spice white russian cocktail is a quick fall shortcut cocktail made with just a handful of ingredients. Splashes of good bourbon, cream, leftover strong-brewed coffee, and an easy homemade pumpkin spice syrup all make this simple cocktail pop with fall flavor.
Gently and lightly dip your rocks cocktail glass in a little bit of the pumpkin spice syrup and then dip in a bit of mixed cinnamon sugar. Set in the freezer to cool while you prepare the cocktail.
In a cocktail shaker, splash in the bourbon, homemade pumpkin spice syrup, and leftover cold strong coffee.
Fill shaker about three quarters of the way with ice. Cover and shake vigorously. Shake well until a light froth begins to appear at the top. Uncover and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh large ice cubes.
Top off pumpkin spice syrup, bourbon and coffee mixture with the fresh half & half cream and give a gentle stir with a cinnamon stick.
Garnish on top with an extra dusting of cinnamon sugar or a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice. Serve immediately, serve very cold.
