- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Fresh Blackberries - or more if desired

Toss all ingredients into a saucepan and cook through until berries begin to soften.
Mash them into the liquid with the back of a wooden spoon and simmer, about 5 minutes.
Strain, chill and keep in a jar fitted with a tight lid. Consume within one week.
