Ingredients
  

  • ¾ oz Blue Curaçao - such as DeKuyper blue curaçao liqueur or Bols blue curaçao liqueur (NOT blue curaçao syrup)
  • 2 oz Orange Juice - such as Simply Orange pulp-free orange juice
  • 1 wedge Fresh Lime - for squeezing in
  • 1 bottle Dry Champagne or Prosecco - chilled in advance - brut style unsweet champagne or prosecco
  • Orange Slices - thin sliced orange for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing glass or cocktail shaker, squeeze in the juice from the wedge of fresh lime.
  • Next, pour in the Blue curaçao liqueur and splash in the orange juice.
  • Stir all three ingredients together gently with a bar spoon and pour this mixture into a champagne flute.
  • Top off the citrus and blue curaçao mixture in the champagne glass with ice cold well chilled champagne and garnish with a thin slice of orange twist on a cocktail pick.
  • Add a festive paper straw, if desired, and serve nice and cold.
