Ingredients
  

  • 8 whole Fresh Strawberries - ripe whole fresh berries
  • 1 cup Fresh Watermelon Cubes - fresh ripe watermelon
  • 1 cup Simple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Fresh Lime Juice - freshly squeezed
  • ¼ cup Plain Vodka - your favorite brand of plain vodka
  • 1 bottle Pinot Grigio Wine - already chilled - or dry unsweet Sauvignon Blanc white wine
  • 1 cup Prosecco or Champagne - or more as desired - already chilled - dry brut champagne or dry prosecco
  • 1 cup Strawberry Slices - optional for garnish
  • 1 cup Fresh Mint Sprigs or Lime Wheels - optional for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Drop the whole fresh ripe strawberries and watermelon cubes into the bottom of your blender.
  • Splash in the simple syrup and freshly squeezed lime juice.
  • Blend these 4 ingredients together until silky smooth and combined.
  • Pour the blended fruit mixture into the bottom of a medium pitcher.
  • Splash in the plain vodka plus a bottle of pre-chilled dry Pinot Grigio white wine and gently stir with a bar spoon.
  • Top off with a heaping cup (or more as desired) of already chilled sparkling champagne and give one more gentle stir. Set the rest aside on ice for guests to top off their drinks at their leisure.
  • Keep a long bar spoon in the pitcher and stir occasionally as you serve to keep contents evenly combined.
  • To serve, fill two stemless wine glasses with ice and top the ice with thinly sliced strawberries, lime slices, and fresh mint (if using).
  • Pour the sangria over the ice and enjoy very cold.  Serve immediately.

Notes

> Need more for a bigger crowd?
Easily double the recipe by doubling the scoops of fruit and cups or bottles of wine to make more as needed for a crowd.
