Make a colorful cool blue 4th of July Cocktail
To keep the colorful 4th of July vibes flowing, I added a vibrant splash of blue curaçao to this easy lemonade cocktail. It makes a fun patriotic drink recipe for sipping while you take in those evening fireworks! It’s perfect for those of you who enjoy a jazzed up white wine spritzer with a little fruit.
What is Blue Curacao?
It’s a colorful liqueur with a most wonderful and tropical variety of citrus flavor. The Laraha orange is native to the island of Curaçao, and its dried peel is used to flavor the blue Curaçao liqueur. Hence, the flavor comes from the tropical variety of citrus and the name comes from the island of Curaçao.

Turn our Refreshing Lemonade Wine Spritzer Blue!
Using a jigger to measure out the spirits, splash in about an ounce of the blue curaçao liqueur. This liqueur tastes so good mixed up with the rest of the cocktail! The next time you mix together a wine spritzer with lemonade or soda, try splashing in a citrusy liqueur like this! It adds a delicious and fruity quality to all the drinks.
Splash in Chilled Dry White Wine
Splash in three ounces of the dry white wine.
Add some Chilled Lemonade To The Spritzer Cocktail
Splash in about two ounces of lemonade. I love to use the Costco house brand of Kirkland organic lemonade. It is sweetened perfectly with lots of juicy fresh lemon flavor.
If you have a favorite brand of lemonade, use that!
Top off with fizzy sparkling water!
You can use your favorite brand of plain or flavored sparkling water, but I highly recommend La Croix sparkling water in the limoncello flavor!
It complements the lemonade and the blue curaçao. It keeps everything citrusy, sophisticated, and refreshing!
Now give your festive Fourth of July cocktail a gentle stir with a bar spoon.
Add Fresh Sliced Strawberries To This festive white wine spritzer cocktail
Use that same bar spoon to gently tuck in thin sliced strawberries. Tuck them in slowly so that they sit right up against the glass. They’ll create a pretty display of red berries against a cool blue backdrop in the glass! This is shaping up to be a stunningly delicious 4th of July drink recipe! Only one step left…
