Sleigh Break Christmas Bourbon Cocktail

- 1½ oz Bourbon - your favorite good quality bourbon
- 2 oz Apple Cider - pure apple cider
- ½ oz Maple Syrup - 100% pure maple syrup
- ½ oz Fresh Squeezed Lime Juice
- Ginger Beer - premium Fever Tree ginger beer for topping off
- 1 to 2 Cinnamon Sticks - for stirring and garnishing
- 1 spoonful Fresh Cranberries - for garnishing – frozen
- Cinnamon Sugar - for garnish cocktail rim
- 3 to 4 Red Apple Slices - for garnish
Instructions
- Swipe your rocks glass and dip into a little combination of cinnamon sugar. Â (About 1 tsp white sugar mixed with 1/8 tsp (or pinches) ground cinnamon. Â Stir to combine on a flat plate and dip to coat the rim of the glass. Â Set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, splash in bourbon, maple syrup, fresh lime juice, and apple cider.
- Fill cocktail shaker about halfway with fresh ice cubes and shake well. Â Shake vigorously until cocktail is combined and ice cold.
- When shaken and combined, pour into a rocks glass. Â Top off with the ginger beer.
- Garnish with fresh cranberries, red apple slices, and a cinnamon stick. Â Additionally, add a dusting of cinnamon sugar on top.
- Serve ice cold. Â Serve immediately.
