I feel like sangria is my idea of a punch type cocktail for the summertime. It’s a delicious and easy mixture of sweetened wine and fresh fruit with a little extra oomph from added spirits. Always a crowd pleaser…

Plus, the simple dry white wine you’ll use for this sangria (like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc) typically boasts notes of fresh stone fruit. So the the fruity mango and peach flavors complement each other wonderfully!

Ingredients to Make white wine peach sangria with vodka

white wine peach sangria with vodka
  • A bottle of crisp dry white wine – such as pinot grigio or sauvignon blanc
  • Bottled peach juice – I’m using Simply Peach bottled peach juice
  • Vodka – your favorite brand of good quality vodka. I used a splash of Tito’s Vodka
  • Fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Simple syrup
  • Fresh mango chunks – ripe cubed mango
  • Fresh peach chunks – sweet ripened peach chunks
  • Fresh mint leaves – for tearing and tossing in
  • Peach schnapps – optional

Make Easy Peach Mango WHite Wine Sangria

add white wine to peach sangria
In a pitcher, combine one bottle of dry white wine with peach juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and vodka.
Tear a bundle of fresh mint leaves and toss in.
Stir everything together to combine.
Fill glasses with ice and spoon a little fresh cubed fruit into each glass. Pour sangria over ice and fruit.
Garnish with fresh mint. Serve chilled.

I highly recommend Simply Peach juice. It’s light, fresh-tasting and not overly thick or heavy. It’s what I use for this refreshing peach sangria whenever I make it for my guests and it comes out perfect every time.

The peach nectar will most likely be sweeter than the peach juice I used here, so be sure to just adjust the sweetness by tasting as you go along if you purchase the nectar instead.

add vodka to spike sangria

I also see a lot of recipes use peach brandy, peach schnapps, or other peachy type sweeter liqueur. It all works deliciously, but I wanted to really keep this recipe simple and make a lighter sangria.

I skipped the sweet liqueurs and opted for a good quality vodka. It keeps the sugar content a little lower and still tastes amazing, light, and refreshing. Any nice organic or sustainable vodka would be a great addition to the mix.

If you like a more intense peachy flavor, feel free to add 1/8 cup or so of the peach schnapps: If using, START with about 1/8 cup of peach schnapps and add to taste – balance out any extra sweetness with added lemon juice.

You could even finish it off by splashing in some sparkling water or top off with a little Prosecco or sparkling wine, if you’d prefer a fizzier finish!

I would top off each glass individually at then end if doing this. Sometimes dumping carbonated/sparkling drinks into the pitcher releases all their fizz and the bubbles fade away. This is a gentler way to incorporate them.

Making this over the weekend. I usually make sangria the day before so the flavors/fruits soak in together nicely. Would this work with peaches or would they just get soggy?

    1. Hi!

The fruit should be good, just use firm fruit that hasn’t reached an overripe state. Peaches and mangoes diced with a slightly firmer flesh should hold up fine overnight.
