Make This Apple Cider Margarita with 5 Ingredients
This is a really easy apple cider cinnamon margarita that you can make with just 5 simple ingredients. However, the key to making this simple margarita recipe truly taste like fall is that cinnamon whiskey plus a few cinnamon sticks.
The Fireball cinnamon whiskey is lightly sweet with lots of warm cinnamon notes throughout. Just a little bit of Fireball whiskey goes a long way and instantly adds the perfect touch of fall spice flavor to this easy apple margarita.
If you’ve never tried it before, don’t fear the combination of spiced flavors and tequila! The cinnamon whiskey and blanco tequila actually pair wonderfully together to create a delicious yet unique margarita cocktail.
Agave Nectar Adds Genuine Earthy Sweetness
The cinnamon whiskey pairs effortlessly with a simple mixture of tequila, apple cider, and fresh lime. A dash of agave nectar will add balance to the fresh lime juice while lending a simple earthy sweetness.
Traditionally, agave nectar is one of the basic ingredients used to sweeten and balance a margarita along with good tequila and fresh lime. If you like to stick with that genuine margarita flavor profile, I highly recommend agave nectar over simple syrup in this recipe.
Just Splash, Shake, and Pour…
The rest of the drink comes together easily in a cocktail shaker. Just splash it together, shake over lots of fresh ice and pour! I like to jazz up my margarita glass a bit by giving it a salty cinnamon sugar rim. Then I’ll load up the top with fresh red apple slices and a few cinnamon sticks.
As the cinnamon sticks sit in the apple cider fireball cocktail, they steep and lightly spice the drink with warm cinnamon flavor. This easy apple cider cinnamon margarita ends up becoming a vibrant, refreshing, and zesty tequila cocktail laced with hints of fall spice. Easy, delicious, and unique in flavor. Here’s what you’ll need to put it together.
