Winter Wonderland Natural Decor Inspired Coffee Table Decorations
These easy diy Christmas decorations are perfect for setting at the center of the table. Â They can be used to decorate a coffee table or dining room table for the holiday season in just a few minutes!
To hold everything together and style these easy diy Christmas table decorations, you’ll want to use a rustic or old fashioned container to act as a vase.  You can use an old tin rustic milk jug as a vase, if desired.  I’m actually using an old copper kitchen utensil container that doubles nicely as a vase.Â
Use An Old Rustic Container as A Vase
To continue adding that rustic woodsy charm to our festive centerpiece, we’ll use a second container to act as a vessel that will hold together some fresh greenery and pine cones.  For this, I chose to use a simple dark stained wooden tray.  It’s perfect for holding pine tree branches along with large gold glitter pine cones.
To make this easy Christmas centerpiece, fill your rustic vase container with either real or artificial pine branches, or juniper branches.

Here I’m using a combination of snowy pine branches that come with frosty winterberries attached.  I added trimmings of real green juniper branches to give the entire look more height and fill everything in.
It’s perfectly fine to use a combination of artificial and real. Â If using some real branches, however, I would recommend trimming down the lower bottoms of the stems.
Do this by cleaning/clipping the bottom leaves off (so just the stem shows). Lastly, I would recommend adding some water to the bottom of your container to keep the fresh greenery from drying out. Change or replenish it as needed.
Place the vase with the Christmas floral arrangement down on your flat container or tray. Â I’m using a wood tray that I will fill with just two or three more pine branches. Â I’ll nestle in some large oversized sparkling pine cones. Â The pine branches hold the pine cones in place. It creates the cozy rustic look of wooden trees from our winter forest…
Use Fillers Like Pine Cones, Juniper Branches, and Ornaments
In place of ornaments (or if you are using a larger tray and need more filler) you might consider also adding tree ornaments. Round gold or red ornaments are a great touch.  Faux fruits such as pomegranates or red apples would work beautifully here as well and will continue to add to our natural woodland theme.Â
I think the look of natural type decorative elements create the most beautiful Christmas centerpieces with simple and natural elegance.
Once you style your frosty branches and greenery on your tray, set everything at the center of your table. It’ll help to create a stunning focal point for the room. Â This simple woodsy floral arrangement immediately draws the eye in to a warm and cozy Christmas setting.
Add A Table Runner To Frame Your Festive DIY Christmas Coffee Table Decorations
To add another touch of color and interest, you can add a Christmas table runner beneath the tray. This is another great way to add even more festive style to your elegant Christmas centerpiece.
Here I decided to go with a simple table runner in that festive Christmas plaid fabric.  It adds just a tad more dimension to the entire look.
Tuck in a few votives to give our Christmas table decorations a bit of warmth and ambiance. Alternatively, instead of votives, you might simply tuck in fairy lights, or candle holders with pillar candles. Any of these will add nice warm lighting to the beautiful centerpiece.
These easy coffee table holiday decorations come together in just a few easy steps. They will change the entire feel of the living room. They are also easy to pair with any other natural holiday decor. For example, this lovely winter woods Christmas tree decor would make a perfect complement.
Keep the rustic theme going all the way through dinner with easy Mrs. Clause pomegranate martinis, a fabulous Christmas Country Smash cocktail, these oh so festive Christmas mimosas, or a very merry Jingle & Mingle cranberry cocktail. A few homemade Holly Jolly Margaritas don’t fall too far behind either…
