This festive spiced Halloween drink with bourbon is inspired by the spooky Haunted Mansion film. A realtor and his family become trapped in a ghostly mansion which they soon discover is haunted… Spirits, specters, and even a clever talking crystal ball all haunt the deep dark corners of the home from the attic to the dungeons below! A very large and stunning Gilded Age style mansion becomes the backdrop for all the spooky happenings in the film. This scary and very haunted antique mansion is also the tasty inspiration for this easy bourbon Halloween cocktail you can serve up to get the spooky party started!
Our festive Haunted Mansion movie themed cocktail gets a bold kick from fresh ginger and also a little warmth from hints of ground allspice and spiced persimmon liqueur. Â

This festive Halloween cocktail recipe is a truly haunting mixture of good bourbon, apple cider, and fresh lime which finish this spooky drink with big, delicious flavors.
Pinches of allspice and ginger really complement the persimmon liqueur and make this festive Halloween party cocktail really taste like fall.  You can try your hand at making your own persimmon liqueur or you can buy a bottled liqueur.  I highly recommend Apologue persimmon liqueur which is what I used for this delicious cocktail.Â
The juxtaposition of both warm and spicy flavor really make this the perfect Halloween cocktail to serve up in the fall when you want to get everyone in the Halloween spirit with festive and spooky cocktails.
