Make Easy Grilled Peaches W/ Bourbon Honey Drizzle
Heat your grill (or cast iron grill pan) and rub your grill with olive oil or canola oil and begin cooking the peaches cut side down. Cook until tender, lightly charred, and little grill marks appear, about 4 or 5 minutes. Flip and continue cooking on the other side for another 5 minutes or so until peaches are tender.
Make A Honey Bourbon Drizzle For The Grilled Peaches
While grilled peaches rest on a plate, make the honey bourbon drizzle. In a small bowl, combine bourbon, honey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice together by whisking to mix. Drizzle this over the grilled peaches, reserving a few tablespoons.
Mix Creamy Mascarpone + Vanilla For The Topping
Mix the softened mascarpone cheese together with a dab of vanilla and stir to combine. That’s it!!! Now top your easy grilled peaches with little scoops of vanilla mascarpone and drizzle the remaining bourbon honey mixture over the top…garnish with fresh mint and enjoy! The bourbon plays so well with the grilled peach flavor.
It’s literally a match made in heaven. I also like to finish off with delicious little crumbled bits made from butter, brown sugar, coconut and oatmeal! It adds a delicious crunchy touch…If you wanna check out how to make this, check out these super easy oatmeal coconut crisp cookies!
The mascarpone is creamy Italian cheese that is rich and delicious. It will add a silky, creamy element to the dessert that is really unlike anything else…If you can’t find it, vanilla ice cream is always a sure shot, but, I really wouldn’t skip it since it goes so well with the bourbon drizzle and the vanilla! You should be able to find it in the cheese section of your grocery store.
Throw these easy fresh peaches on the grill to make a scrumptious summery addition to your meal. You’ll love how the fresh peaches mingle so swimmingly with that golden bourbon honey drizzle…Plus the creamy bite from the mascarpone? The cherry on the sundae…
