Finish off the green Irish whiskey leprechaun treasure shots with a dollop of whipped cream or whipped topping. I actually like to use the whipped topping because it will sort of settle itself in and float over the liquid kinda like a cloud at the end of the rainbow!
It’s not mandatory to have whipped topping, but if you’re making lots of these and putting them out on a tray or setting up in advance, the whipped topping will hold it’s form and shape until you drink it.
It’s not really affected by room temp so the presentation will last up until you serve. Be sure, however, to serve these nice and chilled. They taste great ice cold!
It’s just not a leprechaun’s treasure shot without a touch of gold. My big finishing rule for these awesome and fun shots: you gotta have a touch of gold!!! If you’re gonna make these, the gold sprinkles are what make it a true leprechaun treasure shot!
