In this recipe I used whole milk for creaminess and richness, but you can use your favorite milk, milk alternative, or non-dairy milk for topping off.
- Use your choice of milk such as whole milk or 2% milk
- Almond milk

I highly recommend Starbucks medium roast instant coffee, which you can order online or grab from your local grocery store. If not using instant coffee, use the same liquid equivalent of brewed strong coffee. - Homemade pumpkin spice syrup
- Warm water
- Starbucks instant coffee – medium roast premium instant coffee
- Vanilla extract
- Whole milk or your favorite choice of creamy milk
- Fresh ice
- Mason jar with screw top lid for combining
How To Make a Pumpkin Spice Iced Coffee
Pour warm heated water into a mason jar with a screw top lid.
Sprinkle in the instant coffee granules. Stir instant coffee into the warm water.
- Drizzle in the homemade pumpkin spice syrup and vanilla. This will add the autumn-inspired flavor of warm spices to our iced coffee.
- Seal the jar with the screw top lid.
Shake vigorously and well for about 30 to 40 seconds until everything is evenly combined.
Top the mixture with about a cup or so as needed of fresh ice cubes.
Next, top off the coffee and pumpkin spice syrup mixture with about half a cup of whole milk or your favorite creamy milk. Stir in to combine. Taste for sweetness and adjust by adding in more milk or more pumpkin spice syrup as desired.
