All you need is:
- your favorite cloth napkins
- artificial flowers like these oversized artificial pink peonies
- a little ribbon (I used burlap ribbon for a rustic touch)
- something green (a green leaf or green stem of some type, can be real or artificial).
Coil The Stem Of The Artificial Flower
Artificial flowers usually all have wrapped stems that are covered with some type of material. Take the wire stem and coil it. Bend it into a circular shape wide enough to hold your napkin+silverware so it will stay together on the plate. The craft store or interior decor store will have nice selections of colorful flowers. The pink peonies linked above also work great!
Choose ones that you like the most! If you love purple, do this with pretty purple tones! If you love green, use all green stems and do a fresh green table setting! Sky is really the limit. Let the color of the flower inspire you.
Quick Tip:
If you have a thicker wire, like I did, it helps to get something stiff and slender to help you curl your wire around. Once you get the general shape, you can tweak it/tighten it or enlarge it to fit your rolled napkin+silverware. Check out the quick steps below to bring it all together…

The lovely flower and napkin are simply beautiful on their own, but, if you like, you can max it out and dress it up a little further!
If available, grab some ribbon and a little something green and add it to the flower napkin ring. Tie the ribbon around the stem of the flower and tuck the green leaf through the napkin ring. The pop of green and the ribbon poking out make this table setting look like it’s decorated with a personal mini bouquet!
All that’s left to do is put out your place setting and let these easy diy flower napkin rings add color and character to your table!
