make the strawberry powder glaze For Your Valentine’s Day Cake
the strawberry powder makes it pink.
Combine powdered sugar, strawberry powder, cherry liqueur, vanilla, and water by whisking together in a small bowl. If mixture is too thick, add water by dripping in a few drops at a time to adjust until mixture drizzles freely from your whisk. If too thin, adjust by adding in more powdered sugar. I will say that the flavoring of the strawberry powder is quite mild when mixed into the glaze.
if you don’t have strawberry powder, add food coloring.
It serves more as an organic and natural way of creating a festive shade of pink for our pound cake drizzle. If you don’t have strawberry powder available, you can create a shade of pink by adding in a little red food coloring. That works too!
