Ingredients to Make A Hot Toddy with Whiskey
To mix up this comforting and cozy, classic winter hot toddy, you’ll need to put together a few simple ingredients you probably have sitting in the kitchen right now!
- 1.5 oz whiskey
- 2/3 cup of ginger lemon tea – boil water and steep your favorite lemon ginger tea or plain lemon tea for 5 minutes
- 1/4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3 heaping teaspoons of honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
Combine Hot Tea with Lemon, Honey, Cinnamon and Whiskey To Make a Hot Toddy
Steep tea bag and cinnamon stick in hot water that has already come to a boil. Turn off heat, cover and let sit for 5 or 10 minutes.
Pour into a mug and add lemon juice, honey and your favorite whiskey. Gently stir to melt honey in.

- 2/3 cup Lemon Ginger Tea - hot brewed and ready to pour
- 1/4 oz Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3 heaping tsp Honey
- 1 to 2 sticks Cinnamon - whole cinnamon sticks
