Make Your DIY New Year’s Eve Centerpiece Pop with Pampas Grass
I am so in love with this big feathery look and I think the texture and feel of pampas grass is just so much fun to work with in a New Year’s Eve centerpiece just like this one. I can see so many different ways you could use pampas grass in table centerpieces or festive decorations.
You could easily lay these florals down on the table horizontally and tuck stems of berries. Dot with tea lights or delicate fairy lights and gold ornament bulbs for an instant New Year’s Eve table garland look.
You could easily incorporate these golden berry stems and pampas grass leaves into your after winter decorations. Transfer them to a long and tall floor container and mix in dried white winter branches and birch branches for a chic winter look.
There are just so many fun ways to decorate with pampas grass! I encourage you to try different looks with yours once the holidays are over, and I bet you’ll discover a new way to style them every time.
To create the chic and stylish look of this easy New Year’s Eve centerpiece simply combine a few stems in complementing colors in a simple container.
Choose A Container For Your Floral Centerpiece
I love the look of a glazed gold vase for warmth and a touch extra of glam so I wen’t with a container in that color. You might use a clear glass container, a rose gold container, or a white container if gold is not available.
Here are a few stems that really inspired the look of this chic blushing rosy gold look for New Year’s. As you can see, pink definitely plays a role, but it is balanced out with gold in different ways.
Fluffy Bunny Tail Grass Adds Delicate Texture
Natural dried stems of bunny tail grass add a touch of soft pink with their small puffy tips. They have a lovable dusty pink color that I just couldn’t pass up. The stems are long and thin adding a special touch of delicate texture to the arrangement.
Add The Feel of Bubbling Champagne With Golden Berries
Next, I wanted something of a different a shape to add body and contrast so I went with branches of matte gold winter berries.
These change things up a bit and give the eye a break from so much puffy stuff! More importantly, they give the feel of silky little champagne bubbles fizzing and popping in our elegant New Year’s Eve centerpiece.
Make The Fireworks Pop with Feathery Gold Plumes!
To keep building off of the natural grasses and golden winter berries, we’ll work our way up to a touch of glam in this festive centerpiece. Feathery stems dusted in delicate golden glitter add the feel of fireworks bursting within the centerpiece.
It really brings a little bit of glitz to the bouquet. It also adds to the festive look we want to build in a New Year’s centerpiece. I actually picked up this specific gold feathery stem at my local Michael’s craft store. If you can’t find something similar, match it up with a fluffy ivory pampas grass stem.
Make A Big Finish with Puffy Pink Pampas Grass!
Lastly, the show cannot go on without a star attraction: big pink pampas grass in a blushing coral pink color! It just adds a gorgeous colorful pizzaz. It really commands the eye and adds height to the floral arrangement for our New Year’s eve centerpiece.
To frame the festive floral arrangement centerpiece at the bottom, I added a touch of gold burlap ribbon. It hints at a touch of rustic style while keeping things on the glam side.
Everything builds up into a vertical arrangement that will command attention no matter where you choose to place it amongst your New Year’s Eve party decorations. You can mix and match the rest of your New Year’s Eve holiday decorations to coordinate in warming gold and rose tone colors.
