This easy Thanksgiving Gin Drink is A Dressy Holiday Twist on the Gin Fizz
Fresh muddled raspberries and sage are balanced out by a hint of lime and simple syrup. Â Then a splash of crisp and refreshing Hendrick’s gin mingles in with a bit of raspberry liqueur and everything is topped off with fizzing and sparkling champagne. Â
This easy Thanksgiving gin drink is sort of a dressed up and unique twist on the basic gin fizz cocktail which is also a classic cocktail. This is originally just a combination of an acidic juice + simple syrup + carbonated water (such as club soda or tonic water) and, of course, gin.
Here our ‘fizz’ is the champagne. The acidity and sweetness come from hints of fresh lime, simple syrup, and liqueur. All of these elements (along with a lovely herbal quality from the fresh sage) come together to create perfect balance. It’s a delicious gin cocktail that will make the perfect holiday statement for your guests. If you love simple and colorful gin cocktails, then this is the perfect one to make and serve before or after the meal!
It also makes a delicious Christmas cocktail with its vibrant ruby color and fizzing bubbles. To make this festive Thanksgiving cocktail, you’ll want to have a few simple ingredients handy.

Make A Simple Elegant Thanksgiving Gin Cocktail
To make this easy cocktail recipe you’ll want to start by crushing the raspberries and fresh sage leaves together. This is a great way to infuse the cocktail with fresh flavors. To do this, drop 4 fresh red raspberries into the bottom of the cocktail shaker along with 2 large sage leaves.
Muddle Raspberries + Sage
Muddle the raspberries and sage together until crushed. Next, splash in the freshly squeezed lime juice plus simple syrup.
Add A Splash of Hendrick’s Gin plus Chambord Liqueur
Fill the cocktail shaker the rest of the way with fresh ice and cover. Shake raspberries, sage, lime juice, simple syrup, Chambord, and gin together until thoroughly combined and chilled.
Strain, Top off with Champagne, and Garnish
Fine strain the Thanksgiving gin cocktail using a mesh cocktail strainer. Strain into a tall and slender glass filled with fresh ice cubes. Top the drink the rest of the way with chilled champagne.
Finish by garnishing with a skewer of fresh raspberries or top with loose raspberries and a fresh velvety sage leaf.
Herbal Sage Flavor and Fresh Raspberries Marry Beautifully with Smooth Gin…
As you can see, the sage flavor plays around quietly in the background while the raspberries add hints of sweet fruitiness and tartness to this easy Thanksgiving gin cocktail. Additionally, the Chambord raspberry liqueur steals the show reinforcing that delicious berry flavor. Crisp chilled champagne is the perfect finishing touch. It adds a refreshing fizzy finish to this most elegant Thanksgiving cocktail that you simply cannot celebrate this grand holiday without.
The Chambord liqueur really does take this elegant easy gin cocktail to the next level by adding a delicious deluxe flavor to the drink.
A Chambord Float Makes Everything Deluxe
This, of late, has truly become my favorite new gin cocktail to serve for the Thanksgiving holiday. I like to finish the cocktail by floating just a tad more of the Chambord right over the top of the champagne. How decadent is that? It’s a feast of gathering and celebration so don’t skimp now! Add that luxurious finishing touch of liqueur and let your guests truly enjoy every last drop.
Enjoy For Thanksgiving Brunch or During Thanksgiving Dinner with Guests
The crisp champagne, botanical essence of sage leaf, and fresh berry flavors will complement all parts of the Thanksgiving dinner party from the roasted turkey to the thanksgiving sides like roasted brussels sprouts and butternut squash or even this gorgeous Thanksgiving salad!
